With a goal of helping people live confidently, Kick provides users with tactical solutions to treat situational anxiety including daily exercises and direct access to beta blockers, as well as holistic sleep solutions. Kick founder, Justin Ip, came to Fuzzco to help him build a bold, trustworthy brand for his pre-launch consumer telehealth company.

Two sides of the same coin

Our customers are self-aware, ambitious, top-of-class people. We wanted to start a conversation around treating situational anxiety and later, reduce barriers to better sleep. Kick is the call to action in moments when our customers need to be 100% themselves.

Strong voice, quiet mind

The core identity uses a friendly, but bold typeface and color palette alongside a scalable illustration system that utilizes a mono weight line drawing to evoke a feeling of imperfection balanced with full and semi-circle motif to provide structure and balance.

The sleep extension takes a more calm approach to visuals, relying on a subdued color palette and more minimal visual system.

Discreet intervention

While the high-level brand is bold with empowering language, the product packaging was designed to be discrete to protect customer’s privacy. The minimal packaging has a surprisingly bold interior that creates a visual pep talk as the box is opened—right when a user needs it most.

Live confidently

We developed several campaigns to support their growth efforts across content marketing, social media, and paid advertising. Each piece focused on placing our customers in moments of confidence and ease—from first dates and auditions to presentations and the morning after a good night’s sleep.

Photography

Product and lifestyle photography rounds out the brand system. Confident in execution, we focused on clean compositions, rich textures and a celebration of the everyday.

Designed for growth

We designed and wrote copy for a Kick’s simple website, crafting two versions for early launch A/B testing and giving them tools to expand their digital presence as the brand grows.
